What are the basic steps to update the Joomla website?

Below are the steps to update Joomla manually.

1. Login to Joomla as the administrator.
2. On the top menu bar, click on components, and then click Joomla.  Update. Joomla will -checks if there are any updates available. 
   
3. If an update is available, click on Install the update. Joomla will start installing the update.
